MEET MICHAEL ALLAWOS

Michael Allawos has served Glendora for two terms on the City Council, focusing on protecting the city's small town character and quality of life. 

A resident for twenty-seven years, Michael and his wife, Cynthia, raised their family in Glendora and are now proud grandparents of four. Their growing family motivates his commitment to the community by giving them the same opportunities. 

He remains active in his church and serves regularly as the Second Vice President of the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, participating on its Executive Committee, Energy & Environment Committee, and the Cal Cities Governance, Transparency, and Labor Relations Committee. 

Since 1985, Michael has built a broad career in aerospace manufacturing, healthcare, software, banking, and international consulting, supporting organizations such as the Department of Defense, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, NASA's JPL, and Bristol Myers Squibb. His background provides practice expertise in budgeting, oversight, compliance, and strategic planning.
